No arrests have been made following a fracas that happened between alleged PF and UPND youths on the Copperbelt during Youth Day celebrations.

During the celebrations, some unknown people dressed in PF and UPND regalia broke five window panes and dented a metal wall at a Mini-Mart store belonging to Puma Energy Service Station in Kitwe.

Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba disclosed to Diamond News in a statement that Ricky Chambo 31, a shift supervisor at the station reported that some unknown people had damaged property at the station.

Other properties damaged during the political clash include a Nissan X-trail motor vehicle and a Toyota land cruiser.

Mr. Mweemba disclosed that the confusion started when an alleged UPND cadre was hit on his head with a stone.

According to Mr. Mweemba, it was from there that the two political party supporters resorted to stoning one another, leading to the damage of the mini – mart and three (3) motor vehicles.
