
Nkana Football Club has placed Head Coach Mwenya Chipepo and First Assistant Christopher Katongo on administrative leave with full pay pending the outcome of internal processes.
However, the club has not disclosed the specific matters under review or the reasons for the decision.
Elijah Tana has been named Interim Head Coach, with Josephat Nkhoma stepping in as First Assistant and Donashano Malama as Second Assistant. Goalkeeper Coach Michael Poto retains his position.
Meanwhile, Young Nkana Head Coach Simon Bwalya has been tasked with the role of Senior Team Physical Trainer, with Kelvin Chabala assuming charge of the youth side.
Laston Kangwa continues to lead Nkana Girls, supported by Esther Mulenga.
In a statement, CEO Mwansa Kapyanga has described the changes as necessary to keep the club competitive, adding that management had assured the new bench of its full backing.
