Some workers at Gourock Zambia Limited in Ndola have downed tools, in protest against poor conditions of service.
The workers have told Diamond news that their salaries ranging from K1,300 to K1,500 are not enough to sustain their lives and families amid the high cost of living.
The group alleges on several occasions the company has been engaged on the need to improve the welfare of its employees but all in vain.
Diamond Media tried to speak to representatives from management, but they declined to comment.
