A consortium of student unions has applauded the government for ensuring that the free education policy becomes a right.
Speaking during a stakeholder engagement with the Ministry of Education this morning, National Council for Student Unions (NACOSU) Chairperson Michelo Chizombe says the ministry’s commitment to ensuring access to education is admirable, as it is shaping future generations.
Meanwhile, Minister of Education Douglas Syakalima says education is key to improving national development, adding that his ministry will not relent in its efforts to enhance the sector.
