MWALE SET TO FACE TANZANIAS MILONZI IN A WBC BOUT

WBC International Bantamweight Champion David ‘Sniper’ Mwale is set to defend his title against Tanzania’s Ramadan Abdullah Milonzi in an international bout slated for 31st January 2026.

In a statement issued by OQBP promoter and manager Christopher Malunga, the championship fight will be staged at the Government Complex in Lusaka, with Milonzi confirmed as the official approved WBC challenger.

Malunga father says the bout will be a major highlight on the regional boxing calendar as Mwale puts his coveted WBC belt on the line against a formidable opponent from Tanzania.

He adds that the contest reflects Zambia’s steady rise on the global boxing stage and its commitment to hosting top-level international fights.

Meanwhile, Mwale has also reaffirmed that the event highlights Zambia’s growing presence on the global boxing stage and its continued commitment to delivering world-class boxing to fans.
