MWALE AND MILONZI FACE OFF AS WBC CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN NEARS

Anticipation has intensified as David “Sniper” Mwale and Rahmadan Milonzi have come face to face ahead of their World Boxing Council (WBC) International Championship bout scheduled for 31 January 2026 at Government Complex.

The face-off has marked a crucial moment in the buildup to the title fight, with reigning champion Mwale showing calm confidence as he prepares to defend his WBC International belt. Meanwhile, Milonzi, a Tanzanian boxer approved by the WBC, has demonstrated strong intent as he targets the championship.

Speaking during a press conference held in Lusaka today, Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions Manager Christopher Malunga has confirmed that the event will feature seven bouts, highlighting it as a major night for professional boxing.

Malunga stated that the promotion is aimed at delivering a high-quality international boxing show while providing local fighters with a platform to showcase their talent.
