Lusaka journalist and socialite Mutale Mwanza has pleaded not guilty to one count of harassment of fellow media personality Daisy Mwansa Lusumpa.
She is charged with harassment using electronic communication, contrary to Section 69 of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act.
It is alleged that on November 7, 2024, Ms. Mwanza, using her Facebook page “M-Nation,” used unpalatable words against Ms. Lusumpa with the intent to intimidate, harass, or cause her emotional distress.
She is expected to appear before court on December 22, 2025, for mention and the setting of a trial date before Lusaka Magistrate Mbuvyani Simvula.
