A Consultant Psychiatric at Chainama Hills Hospital has told the court that the murder suspect showed no remorse when interviewed regarding the murder of his partner, Dr. Tasila Tembo.

Dr. Patrick Msoni says this is because of his mental illness, borderline personality disorder which was triggered by environmental factors.

A borderline personality disorder is a mental disorder characterized by unstable moods, behaviour and relationships.

According to the witness, the characteristics of the condition are that patients usually have unstable but intense relationships, outburst of anger, impulsive and usually go against the natural law.

In this matter, Lieutenant Mwaba who is a Zambia Army Officer is charged with the murder of Dr. Tasila Tembo, his girlfriend.
