The President of Mozambique, Daniel Francisco Chapo, will undertake a working visit to Zambia from tomorrow Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 October , 2025 at the invitation of President Hakainde Hichilema.
During the visit, the two Heads of State will hold talks at State House where they are expected to review existing bilateral agreements and explore new areas of cooperation.
The discussions will focus on enhancing cross border trade and infrastructure connectivity, including initiatives such as the Nacala Development Corridor which links Zambia to the Indian Ocean.
President Chapo will also grace Zambia’s 61st Independence Day celebrations as Guest of Honour on Friday before departing Lusaka.
