The Media Owners Association of Zambia (MOAZ) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of veteran journalist Chishaba Masengu, describing his passing as a significant loss to the media and journalism industry both in Zambia and beyond.
In a statement issued by MOAZ President Costa Mwansa, the association says Mr. Masengu was a distinguished journalist and a stalwart of the media fraternity whose professionalism and passion left a lasting mark on the industry.
Mr. Mwansa says the association and the entire media community has received the news of his passing with profound sadness, emphasizing that his dedication and commitment to journalism will be deeply missed.
The association further says the media fraternity joins together in mourning the loss of an exceptional journalist whose legacy will continue to inspire practitioners across generations.
