Mixed Martial Arts Zambia has sent seven fighters to represent the country at the International Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Competition that will be held in Namibia.
The Zambian side will face fighters from South Africa, Namibia and Angola at the African Fighters League 1 event on Saturday, October 1.
Among the fighters are Mwelwa Nkhata who says the competition is important because it will give the team a better experience as they will be facing high profile fighters.
Meanwhile, MMA President Benjamin Bush has asked for support from anyone that would wish to sponsor the fighters so they can have a comfortable stay as they represent the country.
