Mining Expert Gilbert Temba says the Minerals Resources Development Policy should prioritize geological airborne surveys once reviewed by the government.
Mr. Temba adds that conducting a new national survey of Zambia, with the purpose of capturing up-to-date airborne geophysical data should be at the heart of the new Mineral Resources Development Policy.
He notes that expediting the review process of the policy will enhance necessary conditions for sound mineral research, development, and exploration in areas endowed with natural resources.
Republican President Hakainde Hichilema’s National Assembly address reaffirmed the commitment of the government to review the Mineral Resources Development Policy of 2013.
