Residents of Mindolo Township in Kitwe District have urged government to boost public sensitization on the dangers of the Polio virus, that was recently detected in the area.

One of the residents, Theresa Chama, says the sewer system in Mindolo is poor, and if not worked on soon, more waterborne diseases will be recorded.

The residents say more information will help people to adhere to preventive measures.
