Minister of Health Sylvia Masebo has told some unemployed health professionals that they will not be employed this year.
Addressing representatives of the group of health professionals that were scheduled to protest at the Ministry of Health, Ms. Masebo says the group will serve as an example for wanting to protest against unemployment.
She adds that such are not worthy to be employed in the Ministry of Health but should rather try in other professions where they will be tolerated.
One of the unemployed health professionals has explained to the Minister that the group was encouraged by their colleagues to protest as this was the only way government would hear them out.
But Ms Masebo has cautioned them against protesting and that they will not be employed.
She has further explained that the previous employment process was marred with a lot of challenges hence the need for the government to ensure that the next employment process runs smoothly.
