Two maids of Lusaka have been taken to court over theft of 15, 000 dollars and ladies’ underwear, allegedly, belonging to their employer Ali Ecall, a Lebanese national.
The accused people namely, Bethsheba Malupende and Fales Tembo are facing one count of theft by servant.
According to the court documents, they also stole a headcover, washing dish, carrack food medicine, properties all valued at K 262,600.
The incident is alleged to have happened between May 30th and June 6th, 2023.
If found guilty and convicted, they risk serving a maximum jail term of five years.
