Residents of Ngwezi C settlements in Magoye, whose houses were destroyed by heavy rains early this year, are still living in tents provided by the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit as they have failed to rebuild their houses.
The situation has put fear in the people in view of the soon to start rain season.
One of the affected, Seth Malambo, a physically challenged individual, has however appealed to government to help him with roofing sheets to help rebuild his house.
Early this year, over 50 houses were damaged by heavy down pour in Ngwezi C settlements of Magoye Constituency in Southern province leaving many families stranded.
