feira de santana, bahia, brazil - june 10, 2022: drop of water dripping on a tap of a gas station in the city of Feira de Santana.

Water crisis has hit most parts of Lusaka as most boreholes dry up, coupled with prolonged hours of load shedding.

Kamwala South is the most affected community as most residents who depend on boreholes have stayed without water for over 7 days.

In an interview with Diamond News, a family has revealed that the extended hours of load-shedding has severely affected them as they depend on an electric powered borehole to pump water.

And a check at Lusaka water Supply and Sanitation Company, Libala Water Works has revealed that the water delivery services are now on demand, as a number of water delivery bowsers were found queued in readiness to service in the affected areas.

The Lusaka Water Supply And Sanitation Company says the area is not being serviced by the utility company.
