Mobile money agents whose booths were removed from the central business district by Lusaka City Council have complained over the action taken.

One of the agents, Webster Banda, says the decision has left him and many others stranded as this was their only source of survival.

Mobile Money Business Association President Panfred Hansweeka says the action is not right and will only cause a lot of sufferings among families.

According to the Lusaka City Council, the booths were uprooted because they were illegally erected.
