The Department of Immigration has arrested Lumezi Member of Parliament, Munir Zulu, who was reportedly at large.
Mr. Zulu is currently detained at Lusaka’s Ridgeway Police Post to be presented before court.
He has been arrested through a bench warrant as a surety in a case involving former President Edgar Lungu’s political advisor Kaizer Zulu.
In a statement, Department of Immigration Public Relations Officer, Namati Nshinka, says Mr. Zulu was arrested at a named Lodge in Roma after previously eluding immigration officers.
He is expected to appear before court on July 18, 2023, before magistrate Silvia Munyinya.
