Opposition Patriotic Front Vice President Given Lubinda has called for the resignation of President Hakainde Hichilema for allegedly failing Zambians on all campaign promises.
Mr. Lubinda says it is now the right time for the head of state to dissolve parliament and pave way for fresh elections.
Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana however says the president and his government have delivered to people’s expectations, citing employment creation.
Mr. Kawana further says President Hakainde Hichilema is working hard to correct the amount of debt that was accrued by the PF government, hence no need for him to resign.
