LAWYER JOHN SANGWA READY TO SERVE, CALLS FOR CITIZEN ACTION

.

Constitutional lawyer John Sangwa has declared his readiness to serve the nation but emphasized that Zambia’s renewal will only be achieved through the collective commitment of its citizens.

In a statement urging national reflection, Sangwa has noted that while many have called on him to join politics, no single individual can resolve the country’s challenges.

He has stressed that real change requires citizens to uphold their constitutional duties under Article 43, including patriotism, unity, accountability, and respect for the rule of law.

He has further emphasized that lasting progress depends on rejecting corruption, strengthening institutions, and ensuring democracy is funded by Zambians themselves to safeguard sovereignty.

Mr. Sangwa has since outlined ten areas he believes are critical for renewal, among them discipline, equality before the law, economic self-reliance, and shared accountability between leaders and citizens.
