Two sons of the late Zambia music legend, Edwin Hakupila Haangala, alias Smokey Haangala, have sued their father’s administrator, Laurian Haangala, for allegedly failing to account for the deceased’s estate in its entirety.
The complainants have accused the administrator for among other claims, failing to account for the proceeds of his songs and books.
They also say during his tenure as an administrator, the defendant received rental income that was neither accounted for nor given to the beneficiaries despite several reminders and requests.
Mr. Laurian Haangala was appointed an administrator of the estate of the deceased in 1988.
