Patriotic Front Member Chishimba Kambwili has protested against the revised Farm Input Support Programme guidelines which he has described as detrimental and suffocating beneficiaries.
Dr. Kambwili carried out his lone protest at the Leopards Hill Cemetery in Lusaka to demonstrate how many people have died of poverty, and restricting FISP intake
is a death sentence for many vulnerable people.
He says it has come to his attention that government has changed FISP guidelines, which have disqualified all Social Cash Transfer and Pensioners.
But Ministry of Agriculture Permanent Secretary Green Mbozi says there is nothing strange about what the ministry has done because they are just implementing what has always been there.
He says it is only logical that those that that arent qualified do not disadvantage the most vulnerable that need support.
