FAZ President Andrew Kamanga has congratulated the Zambia U16 Boys National team for recording their second consecutive victory at the ongoing FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) tournament in Côte d’Ivoire.

The boys beat Morocco 2-1 in a heated game played at Stade Municipal De Bingerville.

Kamanga who paid the boys a surprise visit and watched the game in the stands, has encouraged the players to continue working hard, saying this presents an opportunity to enhance their skills and qualify to the U17 World through the regional and continental Championships.

Meanwhile, Head Coach Ian Bakala says Kamanga’s visit is motivation enough for the players to continue fighting till they reach the senior national team.

Abel Salim Nyirongo was the star of the game as he scored a brace to grant Zambia the win.

Zambia will face Algeria on Saturday in the team’s third game of the tournament.
