Some members of the United Party for National Development (UPND) have clashed in Kafue during a solidarity march for Town Council Chairperson, Buumba Malambo, who is facing allegations of mishandling her office.
The supporters gathered at the council premises where they sang solidarity songs but were interrupted when another UPND team stormed the premises, pelting stones that left two people Injured.
Meanwhile, Kafue Town Council Chairperson Buumba Malambo says she will not be intimidated by people with selfish motives who want to derail development in Kafue.
A few days ago, some United Party for National Development members protested against the leadership of Kafue Town Council Chairperson Buumba Malambo on allegations of illegal land allocation and mishandling of council affairs.
She has since denied the allegations.
