The House of Chiefs has described Zambia’s sixth Republican President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu as a noble leader whose legacy will remain etched in the nation’s history and beyond.
House of Chiefs Chairperson, Chief Choongo expressed deep sorrow over the death of the former president who passed away on 5th June 2025 in South Africa.
Chief Choongo extended prayers and condolences on behalf of the House of Chiefs to Esther Lungu, the sixth First Lady of Zambia, the children and the entire Lungu family.
Zambians continue to eulogise Edgar Lungu with heartfelt tributes and messages of remembrance.
