The National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has with immediate effect closed Society Business Park in Lusaka due to structural failure.

NAPSA Board Chairperson, Sipango Muteto says the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to protect and safeguard human life.

Mr. Muteto says all current tenants have been given a 10-day notice to vacate the premises.

He says due to the gravity of the costly decision, anyone found in violation that has led to the current problem will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, distraught tenants at the lavish building have shared their despair with Diamond News by appealing to NAPSA to help expedite relocation to alternative trading posts because on their own they cannot, considering the sudden short notice issued.
