President Hakainde Hichilema has pledged to protect his predecessor, Edgar Lungu, from individuals that may be infringing upon his freedom.
Speaking during a press conference at State House in Lusaka, the President denied assertions that he is harassing the former head of state.
President Hichilema clarifies that Mr. Lungu would not be jogging every weekend on public roads if he was being harassed as it is portrayed by some sections of society.
He has since urged the former first family to be sincere on the assertions being spread in public domain.
