The Drug situation in some health facilities is slowly stabilising.
After a check by Diamond news at Chilenje Level One Hospital, patients revealed that they have been able to receive all the medicines prescribed by the doctors.
However, at Chipata General Hospital the situation is slightly different as patients are still being given prescriptions and the most affected are expectant mothers.
One expectant mother got a prescription for three medicines namely ferrous, folic acid and Azithromycin but only managed to get two due to insufficient funds.
Last week the Country received 7,000 Health Center Kits as part of the 42,000 that will be supplied for the period of 12 months.
