.

The Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency has received newly procured anti malaria drugs valued at two million five hundred and twenty dollars.

ZAMMSA Public Relations Officer Enoch Lusoke says the first line drugs for malaria treatment received will provide adequate cover for the next 2 months.

Mr. Lusoke adds that the agency has also procured an additional six months stock cover of the commodity whose delivery is expected to be done in April 2023.

For months, health facilities in Zambia have been faced with shortage of essential drugs.
