
Special Olympics Africa has praised the Zambian government for its ongoing commitment to promoting inclusive sports programs for athletes with intellectual disabilities after the successful Unified Championships Schools (U.C.S) competition held over the long weekend at the Bank of Zambia Sports Complex in Lusaka.

Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary Dr. Kelvin Mambwe, applauds the UCS competition as a meaningful step toward inclusive education reaffirming the Ministry’s support for initiatives by Special Olympics Zambia and stresses the government’s commitment to maintaining inclusive educational spaces.
