Chief Government Spokesperson, Chushi Kasanda, has refuted claims by Socialist Party President Dr. Fred M’membe that he is being silenced by Republican President Hakainde Hichilema.
According to Dr. M’membe , President Hichilema has been using state police to arrest and charge him on trumped up charges, with the latest being an assault charge on a Serenje resident identified as Emmanuel Symposya.
But in an interview with Diamond News, Chief government Spokesperson Chushi Kasanda says the President has no intentions of silencing Dr. M’membe as he has more important things to look at such as the prices of mealie meal.
Ms. Kasanda says the allegations by Dr. M’membe are baseless.
Arising from that, Ms. Kasanda has since urged Dr. M’membe to be a law-abiding citizen.
