Vice President Mutale Nalumango wants the rights of women and girls in digital spaces to be protected.

Speaking during the commemoration of International Women’s Day in Kabwe under the theme, Digital Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality, the Vice President notes that Gender Based Violence in the digital space is on the rise.

And the Human Rights Commission Chairperson, Mudford Mwandenga, says Cyberbullying has an adverse effect of pushing away women and girls from participating in the cyberspace.

Arising from that, the Commission is urging government to scale up the protection of every person from Cyber bullying.
