Government has engaged legal minds to give guidance on how former President Edgar Lungu should be treated.
Speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka, Minister of Information and Media Cornelius Mweetwa says government will take action after senior Patriotic Front members announce that former President Edgar Lungu is still in active politics and the President of the party until the convention.
Mr. Mweetwa adds that owing to speculations of the decision, it was difficult to take action but that they will announce the way forward after seeking legal recourse.
Recently there has been debate surrounding former President Edgar Lungu’s involvement in active politics as well as his comeback while enjoying privileges of a former head of state.
