Government has joined thousands of Catholics and well-wishers across the country in commemorating the birthday of His Grace, the Most Reverend Dr. Alick Banda, Archbishop of the Lusaka Archdiocese.
In its message, Government has expressed deep appreciation for Archbishop Banda’s enduring spiritual leadership, noting his central role in promoting unity, compassion, and moral guidance within the nation.
In a statement Minister of Information and Media Cornelius Mweetwa says his unwavering commitment to uplifting communities through faith, social advocacy, and pastoral care is inspiring.
Mr Mweetwa who is also Chief Government Spokesperson has further wished His Grace abundant blessings, continued good health, long life, and divine wisdom as he continues to shepherd the Archdiocese and contribute to the spiritual and social development of Zambia.
