Chilekwa Mwamba, son of former Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM), has told Diamond News in an exclusive interview that his father’s condition is stable and not an emergency.
Mr. Mwamba, however, says the family is currently preparing to take his father to South Africa for much-needed medical attention.
He has since thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for pardoning his father on medical grounds following his conviction on corruption charges.
He says the family is grateful for the President’s gesture.
