United Party for National Development-UPND Presidential Support System Media Director Frank Bwalya says Zambians should anticipate a reduction in food and commodity prices, citing improved power supply and a recent drop in diesel prices.
Mr. Bwalya has also noted that the price of mealie-meal is also expected to decline, as the country projects a bumper harvest.
He has since urged the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission-CCPC to take action against traders exploiting consumers, and called for stronger regulatory oversight.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bwalya has offered his condolences to encapsulated former Kawambwa Member of Parliament Nickson Chilangwa, who lost his wife over the weekend.
