First Quantum Minerals (FQM) has described Zambia as a growing investment destination, attracting strong interest from global capital markets.
FQM Zambia Chief Executive Officer, Tristan Pascall, says international investors and analysts see not only the company’s long-term prospects but also Zambia’s potential as an emerging market, with copper playing a central role in global trade.
He has added that the visiting delegation will tour the Kansanshi S3 expansion project, Sentinel Mine, and various community initiatives in health and education supported by the company.
Meanwhile, President Hakainde Hichilema, who received the delegation at State House on Monday, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to improving the country’s business environment.
The Head of State says investments like FQM’s are key to creating jobs, expanding business opportunities, and boosting treasury revenue.
