A four-year-old girl has gone missing in Lusaka’s Mtendere Compound after she was last seen playing outside a neighbour’s house.
Her mother, 20-year-old Elita Mwansa says the child had gone to play after lunch, as was customary.
Ms. Mwansa explains that she briefly left to assist her elder sister whose house had been flooded by weekend rains.
On returning, she could not find her daughter among the children playing outside.
The family has appealed to anyone with information to report to the nearest police station.

And the Zambia police have confirmed the incidence and says investigations into the matter have commenced.
