Forest Rangers Football Club have been crowned Champions of the 2023 ABSA Cup after beating Maestro United Zambia Academy (MUZA) 2-0 at Woodlands Stadium on Saturday Afternoon.
Republican President Hakainde Hichilema, who graced the match, has congratulated Forest Rangers FC for emerging champions, further commending MUZA FC, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and all stakeholders involved in making this tournament a success.
And Muza FC Coach Lameck Banda has commended his boys, saying they are young and vibrant.
The Forest Rangers FC Captain says the victory means a lot to him as it is the team’s first silverware in their football history.
