FOREST RANGERS APPOINT BOYD MULWANDA AS HEAD COACH

Forest Rangers Football Club has announced the appointed of Boyd Mulwanda as its new head coach, in a major development that sees him leave Super League side Nchanga Rangers to take charge of the Division One team.

Club Chairman Mulawo Mwaba said the move marks the beginning of a new chapter for the “Fole Malembe” family, with a clear mission to secure promotion back to the Zambian Premier League.

Mr. Mwaba said Coach Mulwanda brings experience, vision, and leadership to the club, and will be supported by Kennedy Kashobondo as first assistant coach.

He further announced that the rest of the technical bench remains unchanged.

Coach Boyd Mulwanda expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and promised to instill discipline, teamwork, and a winning mentality in the squad.

He said his goal is to restore Forest Rangers’ competitive edge and ensure the team earns its place among Zambia’s football elite.

Meanwhile, outgoing acting ñcoach Matthews Ndlovu thanked the club’s management and players for their support during his tenure, expressing confidence that the new technical leadership will build on the existing foundation and lead the team to greater success.

The club also announced the appointment of Raphael Bwalya as its first full-time Chief Executive Officer, a newly created position aimed at improving professionalism and efficiency in management.
