Lusaka businessman Harry Findlay has asked the Lusaka High Court to enter a default judgment against Frank Zimba, the creator of a Facebook page called Fimba Upoke Dig.
Mr. Findlay sued Mr. Zimba for libel and slander, accusing him of publishing false statements linking him to the death of former President Edgar Lungu and labeling him a drug dealer.
He says despite filing the case, Mr. Zimba has failed to enter appearance or submit a defence, and therefore, the court should compel him to issue a public apology on social media and retract his defamatory statements.
