.

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), in partnership with FIFA, is set to host the second African edition of the FIFA Club Professionalisation and Management Programme in Ndola from October 13 to 14.

The initiative aims to uplift the standards of football administration across the country by equipping club officials with critical management and governance skills.

According to a press statement released today by FAZ, the programme will bring in top FIFA experts to train local football administrators in key areas such as governance, finance, strategic planning, commercialisation, and marketing.

The inaugural session will train 50 administrators, with a broader rollout planned to reach over 200 participants from both men’s and women’s teams nationwide and the phased approach is designed to ensure widespread impact and sustainability in transforming Zambian football structures.

The reforms are focused on promoting good governance, self-reliance, commercial growth, and improved competitiveness of local clubs ultimately aiming to raise the standard of Zambian football to global levels which aligns with the FAZ 2026-2035 strategic Vision.
