FAMILY SEEKS URGENT HELP AFTER MAN DEVELOPS SEVERE NECK WOUND FOLLOWING TOOTH EXTRACTION

A family in Mazabuka District, Southern Province, has appealed to well-wishers for financial assistance after a relative developed a severe neck wound following an alleged tooth extraction.

According to his brother, the patient began experiencing a toothache a week ago and had the tooth removed at Mazabuka General Hospital. However, shortly after the procedure, he developed a serious sore. They allege that swelling appeared near his neck after the extraction and that the affected area was later operated on, resulting in a deep wound.

The patient is currently admitted to Mazabuka General Hospital, where he is receiving medical attention. Hospital authorities have not yet provided details regarding his condition.

Meanwhile, relatives and colleagues have expressed concern over the severity of the neck wound and are appealing to well-wishers for financial support to enable the family to seek further medical treatment at other hospitals.
