Gerald Chishimba, a local businessman in Kasama District, Northern Province, has been arrested for operating an illegal health facility. The arrest was made following a joint operation by a task force on medical pilferage, comprising officers from the Zambia Police Service, Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority, Drug Enforcement Commission, and the Ministry of Health.
