Finance and National Planning Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane has revealed that Zambia’s stock of external debt increased by 2.5 percent to 13.36 billion dollars from 13.04 billion dollars.

Speaking during the 2022 Economic Review and Budget Performance briefing, Dr. Musokotwane attributed the increase to projects left by the Patriotic Front government.

The Minister announced that disbursements were largely from multilaterals.
