Zambia Handball Association President Victor Banda says the participation of the U-17 Zambia Handball Boys National Team at the ongoing Youth International Handball Federation (IHF) Continental Trophy is a good move towards their objectives.
Banda says the objective of the association is to expose the junior Zambian players at the earliest possible time in order to have a formidable U20 and senior men’s national team in the future.
He adds that the boys will aim to win the tournament in order to represent Africa and Zambia in the International Handball Federation World.
The boys left for Congo Brazzaville on Sunday, 15th January, 2023 and arrived a day later at 12hrs, two hours before they played their first game against Guinea Conakry which they lost by a 45-19 score line.
