Patriotic Front-PF Presidential aspirant, Emmanuel Mwamba, has reported police officers that allegedly assaulted him to the Police Public Complaints Commission-PPCC.
An emotional Mr. Mwamba recounts the traumatic encounter with some named police officers that he accuses of having abducted him and beat him for refusing to give them the password for his phone.
He reveals that it was during the tense moments that the alleged incensed officers assaulted him and in the process, he lost a tooth and was denied medical attention.
The former diplomat is seeking remedial measures from the Police Public Complaints Commission, because his right to innocence until proven guilty was viciously violated.
Last week, Mr. Mwamba was arrested and charged with the offence of forgery and publishing false information.
