Former President Edgar Lungu has withdrawn a lawsuit challenging government’s decision to prevent him from travelling.
The withdrawal comes after the Lusaka High Court set 25th September, 2023 as date for hearing.
Lawyers representing Mr. Lungu have told the court that the lawsuit was filed as a matter of urgency, however the date set by the court renders the case an academic exercise.
