Heavy downpour has destroyed houses and fields in Eastern Province displacing over 200 households.
President Hakainde Hichilema has visited victims in Mambwe, Lumezi and Lusangazi Districts.
Affected families have bemoaned lack of food and limited shelter provided by the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit.
However, President Hichilema has assured the concerned residents that his office will continue to support them until they resume to their ģnormal lives.
